Karakul Shepherds Alliance
Breeders
(Webpage current as of October 1, 2025)
Breeders Directory Print Version….has been updated, click on the underlined link.
All North American shepherds of Karakul sheep are welcome to be listed here, by either using the online Farm & Flock Finder or filling out the Farm & Flock Finder form and mailing to the Alliance.
No fee is required and you do not need to register individual sheep to have your flock listed. If you have just found us, please email or text photos of your sheep. We love Karakul photos!
* For a summary of Historic-Foundation bloodlines and explanations of MBC (Multi-Bloodline Composite), Isolated, or Line-bred Flock designations please see our Bloodlines page and the Traditional Flocks paper.
A specific directory for the Karakul Bloodlines Breeders….has been updated as well, click on the underlined link.
Currently, the breeders listed have given permission to post their contact information publicly through the Alliance. We have 124 US flocks confirmed. For names of other Karakul breeders please leave a message for Deborah Hunter, Registrar, in the Leave a Comment box at page bottom to ask about other breeders in your state or region.
